WELCOME
I’ve heard it said that we are either entering a hard time, in the middle of a hard time, or walking out of a hard time. This highlights the reality that life is hard for all of us.
Why Sap & Green? As a counselor and in my personal life, I’ve learned that hopeful endurance is central to making it through hard times. Psalm 92 provides a portrait of hopeful endurance, reminding us that — with God’s help — we can endure difficult seasons of life with profound hope, a hope that allows us to flourish like trees “ever full of sap and green”.
I want to provide a safe place for you to slow down, reflect, and find a way forward so that you can find meaning and purpose in the hard times you are facing, as well as cultivate hopeful endurance amidst them.
Let’s begin this journey of growth and hope together.

OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER
I do not take insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. However, depending on your insurance plan you may be partially reimbursed by accessing your out-of-network benefits. I recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card to find out what your specific plan’s policy is for out of network mental health providers.
Upon request, I will provide a Statement for Reimbursement form (also called a Superbill) for you to submit directly to your insurance company. It will be your responsibility to file the claim and the insurance payment will go directly to you.
Please keep in mind that in order to use your insurance, I will have to give you a mental health diagnosis that will become a part of your permanent medical record.

Referrals will be made for needs that fall outside my scope of competence or that require a higher level of care than what can be provided in a small practice.
